When to service your Sealegs
Like any vehicle, routine inspection and maintenance is an essential activity to prolong the life of the Sealegs Amphibious Craft, outboard motor, and accessories, as well as being important for crew safety.
Below is a chart describing the timing of each type of Sealegs service (depending on engine manufacturer’s schedule). Intervals are on a “whichever comes first” basis. From the 5th year onward, services alternate between ‘C’ and ‘B’ service types. Additionally, the ‘D’ service type occurs every 4 years, irrespective of hours. (Below is based on a Yamaha Outboard).
